I am a French Native speaker and I teach French. I am a linguist and I have taught for 40 years.
With me you will learn how to pronounce French, you will work on 5 skills: Speaking, Listening, Interacting , reading and writing .
You will also learn about France and French Culture.
I offer 2 different packages for Beginners A1 level and a grammar course for B level students including lessons, audio files and my podcast for free. (see enrollment at the top)
I also make my own podcasts on French pronunciation that you will be able to access here too.

Hi, I’m Christine Poquet, a French native speaker and your teacher!
I have taught 40 odd years in different countries and in the US and I am ready to take you with me for a wonderful journey! You will learn How to speak and sound French and it will be fun! Yesssss!
In my long career I have taught many different people from different cultures and different ages, I have realized how important it is to start by learning the sounds of the language you have chosen to study , that is a priority and also learn how it sounds so you can speak better and understand better.
I love linguistics and I speak 3 different languages so I can address people in a different way to help them improve their skills whether they are English speakers or Spanish Speakers . You will learn how French works, how to build "your French" with me and believe me , it will be a fantastic voyage!
My courses will be about pronunciation, comprehension, oral and written skills . I will also introduce you to French Culture and France in the process!
